Adwait Singh

Guest Curator

Adwait Singh is an independent curator and theorist based out of New Delhi. His work weaves in and out of areas of inquiry such as subjectivity formation, gender and sexuality, posthumanism, contemporary technogenesis and ecofeminism. Shortly after completing his Master's at Goldsmiths, he seized the opportunity to be a part of the Students' Biennale 2016 and has since facilitated different art projects and workshops for/with young artistic practitioners across the country for various non-profit organisations. Recent curations include 'Caressing History' - a group show investigating the possibility of a body-based historiography for Prameya Art Foundation (New Delhi, 2018). As an art writer Adwait has been devoting time theorising and documenting independent exhibitions and alternative art practices.

Sarojini Lewis

Guest Curator

Sarojini Lewis (NL, 1984) has a background in visual studies and fine art with a specialisation in archival photography, video art and book arts, she is currently working as a researcher, artist and curator. Besides her research during the PhD in JNU (India), in her visual work and curated projects, there is a fascination with history of the landscape, the city, the environment and its user. Repetitive elements in her visual research are photographs of objects, people, migration and moments that reveal forgotten situations and function as visual traces and fragments creating narratives leading to new perspectives. Participated in several projects of the Goethe-Institut in (2018-2015), Kochi Biennale (2016) several international exhibition such as in Museum Escravidão e Liberdade in Brazil and Museum for Contemporary Art Tent in Rotterdam(2018). Her work is collected in several Book Art Collections such as the Tate Britain and British Library.
