India
Born in 1988, L. Raja completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and Masters in Visual Arts from M. S. University, Baroda. The artist has exhibited his work are various group shows at Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi and at the Annual Exhibition Fine Arts Department, Andhra University to name a few. L. Raja has also participated in numerous shows like the ones at 1st International Print Biennale, India; Birla Academy of Art, Kolkata; Intercontinental Biennale of Small Graphics, Romania; Bombay Art Society and National Exhibition, Lalit Kala Academy. The artist has also attended various workshops and camps like at National Museum, New Delhi and Artist Residence, Maharaja Sir Jiwaji Rao Scindia Museum, Gwalior along with a scholarship by the Human Resource Department, Ministry of culture Scholarship, New Delhi.
In his artworks, L. Raja gets inspired by things he sees or experiences in his everyday life and turns them into a subject for his canvas.
