Rinku Chauhan was born in 1990 and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters of Fine Arts, both in Sculptures from College of Art, New Delhi. Chauhan has exhibited her work and participated in several studios and exhibitions like the 88th Annual All India Art Exhibition, AIFACS, New Delhi; Social Animals, East West Art Festival, Alliance Francaise De Delhi, New Delhi; Book Art installation at World Book Fair India in 2013; World Breastfeeding Conference in 2012 to name a few and designed merchandise for JK Tyre Group. The artist has been a part of many residencies including the Wood carving sculpture camp, NIV Art Centre, New Delhi and is a recipient of several awards for sculptures. Her work has also been displayed at the National Book Trust India, New Delhi.
The artist loves to experiments with materials that she is not well versed with. For her, the relationship with unexplored materials gives her a new and a fresh perspective for her sculptures.
