Born in 1995 in Lahore, Pakistan, Waleed Zafar completed his Bachelor of Fine Art from Baecon House National University, Lahore. Zafar has attended numerous exhibitions like the ones at Art Buzz Studio, New Delhi; a collateral event at 1st Lahore Biennale and Annual Emerging Artists show, Myartworldpk, Islamabad. The artist has also attended the ITU Designers in Residence, Afra Technology Park, a residency in Lahore.
Zafar's work is a marriage between structures and patterns that exist within his surroundings. From interacting with people to observing their behaviour, Waleed Zafar constructs his artworks that not only bring out the basic human condition but also the pragmatic side of the society.
